In December 2024, our proposal on international research collaboration and brain circulation was accepted by the Japan Science and Technology (JST) as part of the Adopting Sustainable Partnerships for Innovative Research Ecosystem (ASPIRE) program. ASPIRE aims to connect leading Japanese researchers with counterparts in advanced science and technology nations, fostering global R&D and talent mobility.
In this international collaboration, we will conduct cutting-edge research on thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF)—a promising mechanism for organic light-emitting diodes and bio-imaging—across Japan, Canada, Denmark, and UK. Through brain circulation among these four countries, we aim to develop advanced bio-imaging technologies based on TADF. Project progress and updates will be published regularly on our dedicated site: JST-ASPIRE PROJECT.
