Our recently published paper on the two-dimensional honeycomb molecular networks that confine the electrons on the substrate within their pores (Nano Lett. 2021, 21, 6456–6462), which is the collaborative work with Professor Shigeki Kawai at National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) and Professor Jorge Lobo-Checa at CSIC-Universidad de Zaragoza, has been selected as a Inside Cover of the Issue. The artwork shows how the uniquely U-shaped molecules form organized 2D structure on the substrate through halogen bonding and manifest unique interactions between super atomic molecular orbitals and surface state.
